garment steamer

hi. looking to get a garment steamer to use at home... i am tired of my iron and friends have talked about how easy it is to use them.. i went to store and saw about 3 different models / types .. what features should i look for...
what are your recommendations.. what are your experiences and comments.. of course also looking for the best budgetwise. how much should I spend ?...btw .. it looks so easy to use when they do it at the stores !!

This is the one I have. I loved it and used it a lot. The minerals in our water finally made it die, and I changed to a smaller, travel steamer, but I loved the Smartek one.

thanks for your reply ..... i will look into this ... is it as easy as adding water to the resevoir and passing it over the item to iron out the creases ??

We got one at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with a 20% off coupon it was about 60 bucks before the coupon and it works great! Do it! I am not sure of the brand though...
but steam is the way to go. Ironing is awful!

We have a shark model that we bought at bed bath and beyond. It was around $100 and we love it.

Get the Jiffy Steamer and the steam board. A little more $$$ but SO worth it. I've had mine for about 5 years now and love it.

have seen these on HSN and QVC I am not a big watcher of these shows but did see it one nite when they had if you bought one regular size you got a JR they called it to travel with. was not expensive at all. thought about it actually for my Grand daugher as she travels a lot. you could go into either website and check it out on there and they always say first order gts you $10 off and free postage
