Gardening -What is your go-to site for gardening advice?

I am getting ready to plant my garden and hopefully save some money on my vegetables this summer. We purchased a galvanized water trough and I want to start off with the right advice. I was hoping to add some type of watering system to the bottom before I add the soil. I have read about all different things, from plastic milk cartons to wood stumps(an old german method). Do you have a site, youtube poster or newsletter that gives you the best tried and true advice. Please send me in the right direction. Thanks.

Not sure if this will help. It is a few years old. Last year I grew cabbages, zucchini, carrots, beets, zucchini, spinach, swiss chard ,tomatoes, and green and yellow beans faster than I could eat them. A lot went into the freezer. I've even learned to sow the seeds on a rainy day, and the rain will gently put them under the soil, so I don't even have to cover them up. We live in northern Ontario, and we were eating swiss chard and cabbages fresh from the garden in November, since the brick wall will absorbed the heat and release the heat at night so very little frost.
