I emailed Garden Grocer the other day about purchasing Adult beverages :woohoo: How long does it take them to get back to a person??

Another question, if we are arriving @ MCO @ 11:30, checkin is @ 3, what time should I have my beverages delivered???? What do you think time wise???:confused3 :confused3 I certainlly do not want to miss them but I also do not want to be waiting in my room!!

I heard back from them by email in about 24 hrs. They told me to note it at the bottom of my order "Yes we can purchase that for you. When placing your order you can state your specifics in the comments field box and we will contact you prior to your delivery for the balance of the alcohol"

So I placed my order and did the will call and pay option since i had to pay for the beer. I called later in the day and they gave me the total for the groceries and the beer. I paid them over the phone.

Have a good trip!

Edited to add that 2 -24pk cans of Busch beer was $40.26. I didnt have a clue what beer costs in Florida but like Dh said its always going to be cheaper than buying it at the resort.

Thanks I put in my request also for “adult beverages” and was wondering the same thing.

Caveat: We were at the Grand Floridian so I don't know if it's like this everywhere. We picked, I think 4:30 to 5:30 BUT they ended up being delivered to the concierge. The hotel staff dropped the groceries off for us while we were out at dinner. Our cold stuff (just cheese, nothing actually frozen or quickly perishable), if I remember correctly, was placed in our room fridge for us. I also read somewhere that the resorts will likely place the cold stuff in a fridge pre-delivery: I don't know if this is true.

For our upcoming trip, we're just going to ask that it be delivered to the main desk and then have the hotel people deliver it like luggage to our rooms.

Were you staying on the concierge level? Will they bring it to your room if you aren't staying on the concierge level? Thanks! :thumbsup2

No, we weren't staying the concierge level. We actually offerred to pick the stuff up from the main desk ourselves but they said it was easier to deliver it.

How far in advance does everyone order? I assume they charge your credit card right away?

We ordered about 5-7 days before we arrived. At check out, you can choose to enter your credit card info or call them later with it. Their site was having problems so I simply called them later with my credit card info.

It was really smooth and easy.
