I just saw it last night. I LOVED it! Zach Braff is bloody brilliant.

What did you think???
What was your favourite part???
Would you see it again???

Large yelling at Mark and Sam going "He's protecting me." The way she said it - so cute! That whole conversation right there. And then them screaming on top of the big machine-thing.

I think that was mine too. That or when they were ion the pool and Mark goes "You look like a wet beaver"

Loved it. Loved the scene when they are sitting in front of the fireplace and he tell's her that he likes her so "that's something." And, then she starts tap dancing- it's sweet and almost awkward, more authentic than a typical Hollywood scenario.

Yes it was. I got teary eyed when he talked about how he hurt his mum

I think that more than any other movie I've seen, Garden State really managed to capture the feeling of being in your twenties when you're starting to do what you maybe, sort of, kind of want to do, and the disconnect between your everyday life and the life you once had at home.

The script was good; the dialogue was very natural, but I do think the third act was a little rushed. (Not that that stopped me from crying a little bit at the end...)

I thought this was going to be question about New Jersey.:blush:I guess I'm a dummy ::yes:: :wave2:

I just saw it today - it was fantastic.

Someone already mentioned it, but my favorite part was when Sam was saying the "he's defending me because he likes me" line and Large says "don't be cute".

Zach Braff is very talented. I've seen Scrubs a few times, but I think I'll start watching it regularly now.

Oh. I am so out of touch that I thought I was responding to a thread about New Jersey. I was going to reply "Depends. What exit?"

Haven't seen it, but it looks like an interesting movie.

It was playing a town over from me. It was opening night Sunday. It'll never come to my 1 screen theater either =)

I saw it a week ago and thought it was wonderful.. I loved Natalie Portman's character, and thought she did a great job bringing her to the screen. I have always like ZB in Scrubs, and this was a great effort for his writing, directing, movie acting debut. Loved it!

We have just the opposite problem here with showing indie films..We have two multiplexes-20 theaters each, but I am in such a back woods mentality town that all they will show is Alien VS Predator, or Garfield.....They are starting to come around, now, one of them actually showed Fahrenheit 9/11, and Garden State more recently....Their popcorn sucks, though....the sacrifices I make for art...
