Garden Rocks 2020 To REALLY ROCK The Showcase!!!!

Air Supply is back on the schedule for the same dates of May 12-14! Yay!! Lots of other fabulous groups too. Excellent line-up!
Cool,we'll be there for Allman Betts Band and will definitely enjoy Air Supply as well!

I agree about the lineup-looks like the best ever IMO.

Do you need to have the dining package in order to get seats? I'm wondering how long the wait is if you don't have the package.

No, you definitely don’t need the dining package to get seats. The amphitheater is large enough that people often walk up not long before the bands start. I’m sure, though, with the roster of bands performing this year, that for certain ones, it might be worth arriving 15-20 minutes early.

My parents are excited for Don McLean, I myself will be reliving my teenage years listening to plain white ts on my 512mb sony (other brands are available 😂) mp3 player by actually seeing them live!

I had actually posted this question in a separate thread before I spotted this thread.
I was thinking of getting the package and went to book it and it does not appear to be a set price or prepay like the Christmas processional? How do we figure out what the upcharge will be before we book?

looks like Flock of Seagulls is playing when we are there and some other TBD. Really wanted to see Daughtry but May is out of the question for us! Does anyone know where the guaranteed seats are located with the Garden Rocks dining package? Is there a specific area, or is seating anywhere there is an open seat? We are a party of 8 and hoping to get seats together. thank you!

How do these shows work? Can you go early to get good seats or is it closed off? And do you have to leave when the show is over? Or can you stay for the next show?

You can get in early for the first show, but they clear the theater for the 2nd and 3rd shows, so you have to line up for those.

Wow, love the Marshall Tucker band! So many great songs. I seen them in concert in the late 1970's...like 40 years ago. Looking forward to seeing them again!

I planned a trip just to see Rick Springfield! Can't believe I got dh to agree LOL. I have seen him numerous times over the years. Took dd to see his acoustic show a few years back and took dh to another acoustic show a couple years ago. He has never seen a full band show, so that will be fun. He knows of my obsession with him LOL and just goes with it. And you can bet I booked a dining package.

Thank you for the tip. So if I get an awesome seat, I can’t save it for all 3 shows. 😮

No doubt-one of the BIG FOUR of what was referred to sometimes as Southern Rock:

The Allman Brothers Band based in Macon,Georgia.
Lynyrd Skynyrd based in Jacksonville,Florida.
The Charlie Daniels Band based in Mt. Juliet,Tennessee.
The Marshall Tucker Band based in Spartanburg,South Carolina.

And with The Allman Betts Band also playing Garden Rocks, there will be a connection to The Allman Brothers Band as well.

The MTB put out many amazing songs and their music is still appreciated today as evidenced to the "nod" Florida Georgia Line gave them in their hit song Cruisin'.

If anybody has never listened to MTB,when Spring comes, find you a back road somewhere, roll down the windows and listen to Carolina Dreams or Searchin' For A Rainbow albums.

Some of the best music ever made. :)

Can’t wait for Air Supply. Grew up listening to them. The hilarious thing is that my whole life I thought it was a male and female singing. Just this last week, I went to look at pictures of them so I could put a face to the music. Imagine my surprise when it was two dudes singing lol! My whole life has been a lie ;)

Why does Disney not let Artists at the Epcot Festivals do Meets and/or Merchandise sales?

DON FELDER!! ...3 days before we arrive.>:( Instead we get Counting Crowns :confused3 and Ambrosia.:sad1:

Casting Crowns is pretty good!

I am here for Don McLean, Casting Crowns, and Ambrosia? Then I planned a last minute trip (compared to my 6 months out trip plan, only 3 months in advance) for my birthday (cuz YAY AP!) and Crowder is on my birthday! (bringing my parents for the 3 day 1 park Florida resident tickets) I am not fully aware of Marshall Tucker (Lynyrd Skynrd is from Jacksonville though, woo!) so we chose to do my birthday there on May 29th instead of another park :) (got Akershus for birthday lunch!)
