Hi All!

We already have 2 character meals booked and I need to choose my final two spots from these 3. Based on food and character interaction, which one would you eliminate, any why? I really appreciate your help!!!

Garden Grove Dinner

Ohana Breakfast

The Garden Grill Dinner

I can only tell you about the garden grill.... ( we did CRT, GG and CP) the interaction was great... the most personal and the characters spent a lot of time at each table... visited multiple times also. the food is great too!!

I have never done Ohana for breakfast, so I'm not sure about the characters. However, we consider Garden Grove to be a hidden gem. We've done it the last few trips for dinner- on "southern barbecue" night. The food is delicious, there is a great variety, and it is not very crowded at all. Everything seems fresh- although we normally eat early there, around 5:30. Because it's not very crowded, there's a lot of attention from the characters. Although, I don't think they have the variety of characters that other places do. I think we only saw Pluto and Goofy there. In terms of food, though, IMO it's one of the best.

Garden Grove will only feature two characters at dinner. Some nights it's Goofy and Pluto, others it's Timon and Rafiki.

We did Garden Grove and it was just Goofy & Pluto - I think we were there on an Italian night and I have to be honest, the food was pretty awful. But, then again, we're foodies so it's all relative. It's not as insane as the typical Disney character meals so that's a plus. I haven't done Garden Grill or Ohana but they may be better.

We LOVE Garden Grill!

It was one of the best meals of our last trip and we were in WDW for 3 weeks on the DDP so we had a lot of meals!

Although it's not advertised they do a great vegetarian meal which my DF thought was delicious - in his top 3 for mains.

I loved all of the food apart from the fish (I don't really like any fish) and the buttery mash was especially lovely.

The fact that the whole place revolves is pretty cool and you get the characters without the hubbub of other buffet restaurants. As you are seated in booths or tables that face out it feels like you have the place to yourselves and the character interaction was great. Plus like the previous poster I believe we had multiple visits but that might have been because we were there at the end of service.

I've never hear of garden grove so i can't say anything about that one, I ate at garden grill once a long time ago and it is a very fun place to eat. It rotates continuously (very slowly) through various types of forests, gardens and fields. I don't really remember the food super well but i have heard great things about it. The kids meal has this cookies and cream mickey mousse that is supposibly really good so if you have kids then that will be a hit. I have been intrigued by o'hana's for a while though i have yet to actually eat there. I want to try the breakfest because they have Lilo and Stitch and they are rarely at character meals.

We have done all 3, We prefer the Garden Grill because it has the most unique menu for character meals and good food. Ohana has great atmosphere and besides having a original juice and bread it has same mickey waffles, sausage and bacon as rest of the breakfast buffets but it was good, plus my kids are not into Lilo and Stitch. But have to say the night time aloha dinner is great and great for kids, they have them sweeping coconuts and there is sing alongs and food is very good. Garden Grove was so so for us character interaction was very good but the food was just blah, but it is a good hidden one because the 2 times we went at dinner time it was pretty empty.

Which restaraunt is the garden grove dinner at?

It is at the Swan resort. This resort is on Disney property, but it is not a Disney resort, it is operated by Starwood. The restaurants at the Swan and its sister resort, the Dolphin, do not accept the Disney Dining Plans, Disney gift cards, Disney Visa reward dollars, or Disney resort KTTW charges.

Dont Forget the wonderful $15 parking at the swan. We usually just walk from the boardwalk.
