Garden Grove- Rafiki and Timon?

Hey Everyone,

I am just doing my final research and deciding for reservations and I have just found some information about Garden Grove character meals and read that there was one for Timon and Rafiki, Is this currently still going ahead?

Monday and Friday I believe are the nights with Rafiki and Timon. The rest of the week is Pluto and Goofy.

I attempted to go to the Garden Grove so that my kids could finally meet Timon. I called a week before our trip and everything looked good to go. Well, we arrived that Friday night and the characters had been changed to Goofy and Pluto.

Long story short, call when you make the adrs & check for the characters, but call ahead the day of to be sure they didn't switch the characters.

We went in June. I can't remember the exact date of the adr. It was unfortunate, but overall the staff was very nice about it. I know sometimes there are character issues, I'll just be sure to call the day of the adr from now on.
