What do you think about the character dining experience here? How does it compare to Tusker House and Chef Mickey's? We are trying this out for the first time on this trip.

Garden Grove - (located across from the Dolphin in the Swan) - is an excellent choice for character interaction. Half full is about the busiest we have seen it, and closer to 1/4 full is the norm we have experienced. The characters usually move through the place so quickly that they visit our table 3-4 times during a meal.
Compared to Chef Mickeys, I'd say the GG interaction is much better. The characters are not nearly as rushed, and the place is never swamped with diners, like our last visit to Chef Mickey's.
Meal wise, breakfast at GG is the safest bet. We've had very good breakfasts most trips, but were not overly impressed with the dinners. Good food, but not the same great value as the breakfast, IMHO.
You should check the Swan website and see if they have a current listing. The norm is 2 characters making the rounds, but a while back one of the days (w/e Sunday breakfast as I recall) had 4 (though there were never more than 2 out at a time, thanks to WDW magic.....
My memory is failing me, but the characters are at dinner each night, and breakfast on the w/e's. I recall in the past seeing Chip & Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Rifiki, and Timon maybe. Sorry, it's been awhile, and my age is catching up with me.
