The sooner the better since there is a chance that they will fill up their time slots for the day you want. You are going labor Day weekend so it may be a busy time.

We have used GG several times and always had good luck. Just make sure that you check your order when it arrives as sometimes they accidently leave things out or they deliver the wrong items. Example - ds will only eat CHEESE pizza and they delivered DELUXE - they took the wrong ones and brought the correct ones later.

Where are you staying? We just got back from our second stay at Saratoga Springs and they have a decent sized store with food items for sale. We stocked up there with bagels, cream cheese, milk, and other items - dh even bought a couple bottles of wine.

Wasn't it alot more expensive buying items from the store at SS than ordering from GG?

We just used GG for our trip last week. I think you can do it about 2 weeks ahead of time as long as it's not over a holiday.

We ordered about 10 days in advance but it's not like Peapod where you can go back and add more to the order, so I think we added too early or I didn't have my list done good enough 10 days before....

We will be using GG as well for our trip Aug. 1-6. We have two DS's under two years old so we'll need food for them, not to mention diapers etc. Looking forward to having snacks, fruit, drinks, etc in the room. We'll be ordering bread and sandwich meat, little individual Chex Mix etc. as well so we don't break the bank with all the park food every time we are hungry or peckish. My sister and I are currently building our GG wishlist as her family is also coming with us. Once we finalize it, we'll place our order next week or so. I'm so impressed that there is a service such as this one for all of us to enjoy!

We used them last October & will use them this September. i forget how early I ordered. Two weeks sounds good if it's not a holiday.
