How exactly does Garden Grocer work? I know you order it online, but how is it shipped to your resort? Do you have to pick the order up from the front desk, or is it delivered directly to your room? :confused3

I used Garden Grocer my last two trips, and they were wonderful. The first time we were at Pop, and arrived at about 8:30PM. Once we got into our room we called bell services and they promptly delivered it to our room. (They will keep cold things in a fridge for you if they deliver and you are not in your room) This year we were at POFQ and arrived at about 530PM. We called bell services to have the food delivered and they said it could take up to 40 min. We had dinner reservations so we opted to pick it up ourselves. My husband went to bell services and they gave him a luggage cart so that he didn't have to carry everything. We could have had it delivered later(after dinner) but I had some things in the order that I wanted to bring for my picky 2y/o for dinner. They actually called us on our cell phone right before they delivered to let us know they were coming. Both times we let them know that we hadn't arrived yet. I'm sure they check at the front desk and if you are in your room they will deliver direct. I highly recomend them!

Can I just clarify one thing? Were your groceries waiting for you at your hotel BEFORE you checked in? We are arriving ay the airport at 10:40pm and I would love to know that our groceries could be waiting for us!
Thanks!

Yes, you can have the groceries delivered before you check in. When you order you choose a timeframe. I think the last timeframe is 7-9 pm.

Hi. We used Garden Grocer and it worked out really well. The delivery person called m eon my cell to see if we were in our room and actually delivered it right to us. He was fun to talk to, too. :)

One thing I ran itno at BW Villas, when I called the hotel and asked if they would refridgerate stuff if it got there before us and they said no. So I would call where you are staying and make sure. Otherwise, plan it for a time when you are going to be around the hotel.

We used them last trip...however we are using wegoshop this time...(next week)..we set a time frame, ..however, thanks for th info above poster as we are at BWV for our delivery day. YC kept our items refridgerated....we do not have many items tho.

I did prefer the gardengrocer site, tho...liked the visual aids with the list...lol...will see how this one goes.

Where do you go online to order?

And, if I understand others, it's delivered to your hotel? Is it worth the money?

Thanks for any details...first I'm learning of this.

How does that work? And where do you find info? I'm interested in have groceries since my son is a fussy eater...and it would probably save money on snacks and drinks.

Do the services all deliver to the hotels?? We will not have transportation.

Thanks again!

wegoshop.com.....or gardengrocer.com...

They will deliver to your hotel...:) We did this in Aug/Sept...DD was 14mth old...so convenient to have diapers/wipes/swimmers delivered etc! Garden grocer is set up with the photos of what you want...and wegoshop...you just type in a grocery list!

It does save money on drinks/snacks/bottled water!

It looks like garden grocer is $12 now to deliver to the hotel. It was well worth it, too. We had a villa with a kitchen, so I orderes a few breakfast items snack stuff and other treats, including ice cream. It saved us a lot of money (and time) because most mornings we just made a quick breakfast in the room and hit the parks when it opened. And not having to pay for soda and snacks to bring back to the room alone was worth the $12 shipping. I would use them agian.

We just got back from a trip where we used Garden Grocer. We got breakfast stuff, snacks, water, swim diapers, regular diapers, and some other stuff. It was all waiting at bell services when we arrived the the resort. They had even called me to see if we were close to the resort and we were not even on our flight yet! I would use them again in a heartbeat!:thumbsup2

We used wegoshop on the past two trips. They delivered to us in the resort, called before arriving. Once at the Poly once at ASMo. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend them. I was able to have beer and a bottle of wine delivered too -- saved $$$$ on that alone. One trip DD was sick upon arrival and I called to add Tylenol and tissues to the list. THe owner called me from the store to double check that she was making the right purchase. I have not used gardengrocer.com but I have never read anything negative.

Used garden Grocer twice now...LOVE...LOVE...LOVE them!!!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I highly recommend them, they are awesome! and you'll save tons of money too

I am glad I found this thread. I was just wondering how and where to get water, snacks, etc... this year since we are flying instead of driving. All this information has been very helpful!! It sounds like everyone has had great experiences with Garden Grocer. We aren't going until Nov.9, but I think I am going to put my order in soon.
