We are thinking about using this for our Sept trip. How far in advance can we place our order? Is it really worth it? Last year we sent everything down UPS and it cost about $40 for shipping. I notced everything is a little more money on Garden Grocer, but would it be worth it? What is everyone thoughts? Although I do have to say our package that we sent down was terriable by the time we recieved it. UPS repacked everything when we took it to them, and the sunscreen and something else leaked. It may be better to order from Garden Grocer.

I am curious as well! Does anyone know approx how much delivery would be? I had planned on buying some breakfast foods from the general store at BWV when I stay there this Sept, but maybe this is a better deal. I think I still would buy milk & juice myself, but need coffee, cream, pop-tarts, cold cereal, etc. How much does Disney charge for milk & juice these days?

We have used GardenGrocer twice and have had great experiences both times. The prices are a little higher, but the delivery fee is only $12. Everything we ordered arrived on time and in perfect condition. They will leave it with Bell Services if you prepay and are not getting alcohol. That way you don't even have to be there to receive your order. We just called and had Bell Services deliver to the room when we returned. They will even put your cold items in the fridge until you are back in the room.

We used Garden Grocer last Sept and loved them. We ordered everything a month or so in advance and even added a few items the day before we left. It was no problem. Everything arrived cold and fresh right to our door. We were very pleased with the service. I dont think you could go wrong with them.:goodvibes

I wanted to mention that Amazon.com sells food (not perishables) and, if you spend more than $25, shipping is free. Since we had the DDP, we just ordered snacks. I ordered granola/yogurt bars (great for an on-the-run breakfast), the chocolate covered cashew (really, really good), some freeze dried fruit, and beef jerky. I think I went a little overboard because you do buy in quantity but we used the excess for snacks for the train ride home.

The box was delivered really fast and was waiting for us at the check-in desk.

I just placed an order for July. Delivery is $12. I also used them last year and was very happy with the service. Their prices are not out of line, and having them bring the stuff to the room is a huge convenience for us.

Where and how can I learn about that. I never heard of it. Is there a web site I can go to?

I just placed my order with gardengrocer for our trip this September. Once everyone starts to order their times fill fast so I thought better safe than sorry. :goodvibes

I used the Garden Grocer and ordered cases of water . . .LOTS of water!!! Too much water for 3 people!

Bell Services brought it to our room. We tipped the guy with 3 extra cases of water that came to get us in the van at CBR. He was a happy guy. LOL

I would highly recommend using GG. Plan it ahead of time though because the delivery dates do book up fast.

Thank you everyone for answering this question. I think today I will sit down and try to think of what we need for our stay.

We used them for the first time in March. Every other trip we have rented a car for part of the trip and could go off site to go grocery shopping. This trip we decided to try them and it was well worth it. Sure the prices are a little higher than if we went and bought them ourselves but the delivery fee is only $12 and saved us money, and time, in the long run. Also we had just arrived at MCO and boarded the ME bus when we got a call from them telling us they were at boardwalk right then (we were staying at BCV) and asked if we minded them leaving our groceries with bell services. We had even ordered a 12 pack of beer (I was surprised since I heard that we had to be present when delivering alchohol) Anyway we got everything we ordered and even got a call later in the day asking us if we received the order and if it was all correct. We will use them in the future for sure:thumbsup2

Ditto. We used them last September and will again this Sept. Its well worth the $$. We used to pack lots of snacks, Diet Dew, water(what a pain). Now its just a click away. If you like Pepsi products, do it, you wont find any on Disney property:rolleyes1

We just got back this past weekend. I ordered my things about 3 weeks before we left. Everything was waiting for us when we checked in. I will us them again. I noticed the prices were maybe about 10 to 20 cents more than home and it was worth every penny for the delivery charge since we didn't have a car.:goodvibes

Can anyone tell me if there is a minimum order amount? All I want is my PEPSI. I will die if I have to live a week without Pepsi. :sad2:

Yes, I would also like to know if there is a minimum order or $ amount to spend. TIA for any info!:goodvibes

When I placed my order for next week, the minimum it said was $40 before tax and delivery charge.

Sorry, we must have posted at the same time, I didn't see your response.

Wow, I'm not sure I can spend $40. We just wanted water, bananas and apples. I'll have to think about it. Thanks for the info.
