Looking for opinions on Garden Grocer vs. We Go Shop. I'd like to have diapers, wipes, water, baby snacks, apple sauce, bananas, bagels & milk delivered for our December trip. Garden Grocer's prices seems really high to me but We Go Shop's service fee is more. I might be leaning towards We Go Shop because we use a lot of Walmart's Parents Choice baby products. TIA for any help you can provide!

We've used garden grocer 3 years in a row and have always had a good experience. I've never done diapers, always bring those in the suitcases, but we typically will get perishables, breakfast foods and snacks. The prices do seem high but I've never compared to we go shop (never heard of it until now actually) :). The delivery with garden grocer has always been smooth and on time.

I've never used Garden Grocer so I can't offer a comparison, but I have used WeGoShop 3 or 4 times and will use them on future trips when we need groceries. Their service has been flawless each and every time and I appreciate that they will shop where you choose. My youngest has very sensitive skin so I wanted to keep to our usual brands of baby products and WGS was the best way I found to accomplish that and get the few grocery items we like to have in the room.

I think WeGoShop's service charge isn't substantially higher than GardenGrocer's, and tge advantage to you is, she will shop at the store you choose - so you can get your WalMart products.

I prefer Wegoshop, because they'll shop where you want. Since you typically use Wal-Mart products, they can go there, and get exactly what you want. Due to that, we had them get sunscreen and other non-food items. Wal-Mart sells these individual vegetable packs--like the applesauce containers, only with peas, carrots, etc. I used those a lot when my youngest was a toddler. They were perfect on vacation. That's just an example of a "weird" item that I knew Wal-Mart had, that I was able to get on vacation.

P.S. If you forget or run out of something, you can get a second Wegoshop visit for a reduced fee.

For those of you who have used We Go Shop, how are their prices? Are they actually what Walmart would charge? I'm trying to figure out which service would be financially more feasible...

Yes. At delivery you'll get the actual cash register receipt for your order and the receipt total plus delivery fees is what you pay.

You're also expected to tip Wegoshop. If you aren't there when they deliver, they put a 10% tip on automatically. (They'll leave your stuff with bell services.) Your receipt is right in the bag with your order.

I found their service to be well worth it. When we stayed at AKL, the lady had all our stuff in a plastic tote--she wheeled it up to our room, and unpacked it right onto the counter for us. It was also nice to get that second trip--we ran out of snacks for the room.

Thank you so much for the help! I'm thinking we'll go with We Go Shop.

This thread has also convinced me to try We Go Shop on our next trip. We used Garden Grocer last time and were happy with their service but their prices seemed very high.
