I want to add in the gratuity when I order in case we are not at the resort when it arrives. How much is customary and is it based on the cost of the order itself or the total including delivery and tax?:confused3 I don't want to be a cheapskate, but I don't want to overdo it since the tip will be given BEFORE I actually receive the service.

The first time we used them, I ordered about $90 of grocery's and left a $5 tip. That may sound cheap, but I knew I was not going to be there when the delivery arrived.

I did get great service and a phone call from the delivery person telling me how many bags I needed to look for. I will probably tip more in the future because of this.

I tip 15% or so on the value of the groceries ordered (not including the delivery fee).

We won't be in WDW till Aug, but I placed a $70 ordered recently. I tipped $10. I figured with the gas prices the way they are, the poor driver could use a few extra bucks!!! :goodvibes

I just placed my order for the first week of august. I plan on having it delivered to bell services and will probably have to tip them to bring it to the room. I am not renting a car so I will still save. With that in mind here is my total:

Subtotal $68.70
Delivery $12.00
Gratuity $8.00
Sales Tax $3.95
Balance Due $92.65
