Garden Grocer Refund?

I'm surprised that they're apparently not doing as well shopping for locals when everybody should (must?) stay home, that they seem to be unable or unwilling to refund tourists.
Good point. I know here with Instacart right now, you can only get a delivery timeslot if you schedule a week in advance. That's how busy they are.

Has anyone had success. I canceled my order back in May and still no refund. I think I am going to have to dispute it.

Or, like someone back in April, email and let them know if they don't respond/refund immediately, your next step is a credit card dispute.

We wrote an email a few days ago since we have not got our refund from May and they replied and said it should be issued this week. So I will keep you posted.

edit: After the email we saw the refund 5 days later. This is a refund from June. It was an April order that we moved to June and then had to cancel again. I would email the company.

Hi everyone- I know this thread is from last year, but I wanted to see if everyone got refunded. I cancelled our August 2021 trip in early July. I emailed Garden Grocer immediately. They responded that due to a high volume of cancellations, it would take 15 business days to receive the refund. Fifteen business days came and went. On the 20th business day, I emailed them again. They apologized and said it was taking up to 30 days. It has now been 6 weeks and still no refund. I emailed them again this morning. Did everyone eventually get their refund without going through a credit card dispute?

We had to cancel way back in 2020 when Covid first happened. I want to say we saw the refund about 40 days after. After 30 we called and said something and then at 40 days we got refund.

I just had to do a cc dispute. Their email confirming cancellation and the terms and conditions said 15 business days for the refund. I emailed after that time frame and was told they were issuing that day. I waited the appropriate time for it to post and nothing... I emailed again with crickets.

Buyer beware.

I had to cancel years ago when Hurricane Irma went through. I canceled in the appropriate timeframe and waited months for a refund, emailing politely each time. I eventually went through my credit card as a dispute. I was refunded the next day. I will not use them again.

The email I got said 30 business days minus weekends which is actually 6 weeks. The email also said we would get the refund very soon. Alas.
