garden grocer prices

If you are trying to be thrifty, shop yourself but they are a business and have employees to pay. They have to make a profit somehow, that's what businesses do. We felt it was worth not having to rent a car not to mention how much our time is worth. You are paying for convenience so comparing to prices at home is not a fair comparison, imo. We are giving them a shot on our trip in 2 weeks.

Comparing prices to home is not what I'm looking for. I used it as an example because I'm not about to pay what would be almost $100 (the difference in prices from my local store to GG's prices) for my order to save myself an hour of shopping. But if the prices are closer to what they charge in the area and I'm only paying $30, then that's different. If I wanted to be thrifty, I'd be driving my car down and bringing my own groceries :rotfl:

So basically I don't value myself at $100 an hour  Can't really call me thrifty, though, because I'll turn around and spend it on a character meal in an instant
