Purex 3 in 1 is the brand name for the laundry sheets - my mum loves them and they are so easy to carry!

I do find it handy to get goldfish crackers, boxes of raisins and oreos (flavours you can only get in US) for DD.

She much prefers little and often eating. A snack whilst waiting for the parade keeps her busy and happy. I pack a small bag and she chooses a snack - I take food bags/little pots so I can decant the big bags into individual portions.

An example would be we have a big buffet character breakfast at 8am, DD then says she is hungry at 11am whilst we are still stuffed. So she has a little snack then we can all use our snack credit in the afternoon for an icecream and QS tea.

there are very few places in WDW where you can get a decent coffee or a decent tea (I mean hot tea)

I've given up on coffee on property ... tastes like old socks' juice.

tea is pretty disgusting too..we take it with us as I really have never ever found a decent tea at all. Can't beat a cup of Yorkshire Tea first thing in the morning

Agreed on the tea. I'm taking a full size kettle (£7 Asda bargain), which I will dump there and a box of my fave t-bags. Also taking Starbucks instant coffee singles x40. Pricey but the coffee there is disgusting.

I may have posted this before but to save money we ordered one case of bottled water and then a gallon bottle and topped up empty bottles that way,it saved quite a bit.ALso I took my own washing tablets with me, that also saved a little. DD loved the smoothie drinks from GG, she had these for breakfast.

We always order some fruit and yoghurts in a desperate attempt to get something healthy into the kids whilst we are there! I also agree with tea bags - a little box of pg tips is essential! I've already started putting things into my favourites on the site and we don't go until November!

We always order with GG and we really only need the water for WDW but order the rest to bring home

Our must haves are

48 bottles of dasani water
clorox wipes (in case someone is ill - a good trip is when we dont need them )
washing up liquid to wash up our refillable mugs
wet ones individual antiseptic wipes - use them before eating in the parks and then bring them home where I use oodles at the school I work at.
Ziploc sandwich bags - for carrying stuff in the parks - I always put items such as cameras and passports in them before I go on water rides etc.


Then the not so must-haves
rice krispie treats - the strawberry and chocolate drizzle ones we can't get here go in packed lunches for weeks
domino cinammon sugar - for pancakes at home
cornbread mix
ranch dressing mix
famous amos cookies - DD favourites
the mini pringles packs - the cheddar cheese ones are addictive

we usually find that even with delivery and all the extras of the USA brands we love we still spend less thna the water would cost us at $2.20 per bottle in the park :

I'd love to order in some beers/milk and breakfasty stuff for when we arrive to save a stop at a super market on the way there.

I think you can order wherever you are staying. Will you have a fridge?

Yes they deliver everywhere on Disney but I think might have stopped Swan and Dolphin delivery. You have to fax them ID if you order alcohol. They do have small fridges at POR.

I take my own tea bags, Americans just cannot make a decent brew! I'm a big tea drinker so they're a must for me to pack!

I was going to ask about this. I have been doing mock lists and one thing DH wants is Landshark beer. Can you email them a copy of your passport?
Also how far in advance do you need to order. I was thinking a week out but is that too soon or not enough time?

have a look at the plastics around where the power plug goes into the kettle, or on the model label on the bum - it should have an input voltage tag on it, normally kettles say 110v - 240v meaning it'll work on both, it'll just need to be plugged in to a UK-US adapter, and bear in mind it will take a while to boil coz of the lower voltage
