for purchasing a few items ~ milk, bottled water, a bottle or two of wine and a couple of snacks? We Go Shop doesn't list their prices.

WE GO SHOP buys at local store (Publix, WalMart, Target) and pays their price and charges you a fee for service. They supply you with all register receipts. You can go online andcheckprices at local stores to help make your decision.

I like WeGoShop because you can specify any product and they'll shop wherever you want. Plus if you provide a phone number, they'll call you about substitutions if they aren't clear about it. They do charge a service charge, but I'd rather pay it and be able to specify exactly what I want. Plus their service is pretty darned good. Not Owner's Locker good, but few things are! ;) :thumbsup2

We used Garden Grocer in February and were pleased. Wish their selection of fruit was better, but found their prices good. They don't list alcohol, but we put down what kind of wine and beer we wanted and they picked it up for us. Delivery was free because there were 10 of us and we spend over $200. Everything was packaged nicely and they arrived promptly with our order.

We've used Grocer before, and we'll use it again this upcoming summer trip. We like them a lot.

Both are reputable agencies and have devoted customers. There are some basic differences in their styles.
Garden Grocer: You shop a "virtual" grocery store and pick items to add to your list. I believe the prices are marked up a bit. They have a minimum order amount. They offer free delivery if the order is over $200. Their delivery window is 2 hours.
Wegoshop: You make your own list of items (including Brand Names and sizes) and Email it to them. They will shop where you request, there is no item mark up - they give you the grocery store receipt. Their delivery fee on our last visit was $17. Their delivery window is 30 minutes.

We have used wegoshop.com 5 times and will use them again in the future. We have been delighted with their service. I prefer to write my own list of what I want and specific whether or not I will allow substitutions. I LOVE the 30 minute delivery window. We have compared and we have always saved over shopping at Disney. We order breakfast items, juice, coffee, fruit, water, soda, beer, wine, cheese and crackers, and some snacks.
I highly recommend them

I think if you only need a handful of stuff it's more economical to use GG.
But if you need a big list of items WGS should be cheaper because they charge a service fee on top of regular grocery fee. Whereas GG groceries costs are marked up I'd say about 20% to 40% or so (at least that's compared to prices in MI, I can't say about FL prices), and they charge smaller delivery fee.

WGS expects tips for the delivery, and according to GG website they don't require tipping (but of course we'll tip anyways :) ).

Thanks everyone! Do we need to be present when WGS delivers? From what I understand, GG will drop off your order with bell services.

So will WEGO. We had late arrival and they had everthing dropped off at bell services and they called to notify us that it was delivered

Bell services sometimes has issues with holding perishable things like groceries. I now marge from wegoshop asked that we be in our room when they arrived. We got to the desk at our hotel, asked for our room number, and IMMEDIATELY called her to let her know we were there. We then did the rest of our check-in, went to our room, and within minutes, Marge was there with her wonderful husband and our things. We have used them twice now and they are just such kind people!

If you want liquor there is a $5 charge for a stop at a second store however keep in mind that in Florida beer AND wine are sold at the grocery store! The other really nice thing to keep in mind is that if you have a special occasion, you can order a cake at the grocery store you ask wegoshop to shop at and they will pick that up for you too! Much more affordable than the Disney cakes and Publix does a really nice job with their cakes.

I seriously would recommend WGS to anyone and do all the time.

We prefer GG. Wego shop was ok too, but because we had some beer delivered they wouldn't leave it and we had to wait for them to bring the groceries. It's understandable....although this was not what I wanted to do as we wanted to hit the parks. Then I had to wait for them again later that night because they called to say the girl messed up my total and I owed her more money. I wasn't thrilled about this and will probably use GG as we've done the past 2 years. We've never had a problem with them. They leave everything in the refrigerator with Bell Services. DH can get his own beer.
