In Sept. we will be taking our first trip with DD 18mos, and will need diapers, snacks, etc. Which is easier and/or cheaper--shipping a box of goodies to our resort or ordering from garden grocer?:confused3

I use garden grocer, but IF you are shipping diapers and just non perishable stuff it may be cheaper to ship your own box. Price it both ways! Go online and put what you would want in your "cart" and see the cost, the price it out at your local stores. dont forget to factor in shipping costs.

I agree with PP. We love Garden Grocer and you probably cannot go wrong either way, but I do not know how the costs would compare off-hand.

We've used WeGoShop and would certainly use Marge again. She used her "frequent shopper" card, so we saved enough on the groceries to pay the delivery fee. I highly recommend using Marge. If nothing else, you help to stimulate the local economy.

Who's Marge? I assume she's the shopper at wegoshop.com? Do you order perishable items? Are you there when it's delivered to put them in the fridge, or will the hotel hold them in a cold place for you?

We used Garden Grocer for non perishables a couple of weeks ago and it was really easy. The groceries arrived via bellman within an hour of our check in. On the flip side, I also ordered some cookies from Mrs. Fields to be delivered as a surprise and they were delivered to our room with no problem. So either way, you're probably ok. I'd probably use Garden Grocer if it were me.

I have done both. That said, I found shipping a box great if you will have a lot of liquid items, as the newer flight regulations went into place and I was worried about having to purchase sunscreen in DisneyWorld. Also, we did not have to wait in our room for delivery of the box. Guest services just came in and left it (a tip was left on the table.)

Whatever you decide will work out fine. Don't make the mistake and over tip Garden Grocer, as a gratuity is incuded on the invoice, which I only noticed after they left. :hippie:
