garden grocer delivery..have to be present?

I don't know why I didn't think about this. I placed our order to be delivered tomorrow on Friday afternoon. The earliest delivery time was 2-4 (I did notice they are cutting off certain days due to volume, and I assumed they were getting booked up). So I took it.
We will be checking in hopefully about 11 (flight lands at 9:30). If room is ready we will drop carry ons and go...if not, probably leave them with bell services and go get the car. I don't think we'll be there between 2-4 in any case.
Do you have to be there when groceries are delivered? It's paid for and tip already added.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but we've never used a grocery delivery before.

We used Garden Grocer last summer at BWV and were very pleased. Our room was not ready when we checked in, and GG had already been there and checked our order with Bell Services. They placed the order in the fridge/freezer and we had them brought up with our luggage when our room was ready. Very easy and I loved it so much, I plan on doing the same thing this coming June. Have a nice trip!

No you don't have to be there and I believe they drop them with Bell Services regardless if you are there or not. I asked about this and I guess Disney doesn't allow them to deliver to the room anymore? I have used them 3x's and had no issue. I usually arrange for it to get there around the time I plan on getting to the resort so when I get to my room I can have BS bring them up right away and we get everything unpacked at once.

You don't have to be in the room or at the resort and they will call and tell you that they delivered your order.

As the others have said, they will leave the groceries with Bell Services. You just tell them that you had groceries delivered and they will retrieve them for you. We had ours brought to your room with your luggage. No worries!
