Garden Grocer/Beach Club

I am considering placing an order with Garden Grocer to arrive the same day we do. I've read on other threads that there is a resort delivery charge at Beach Club. Does this apply to grocery deliveries or just packages? If it does, what's the cost. Also, what if we are not there when it arrives. I don't want to waste precious time waiting on groceries. Anyone have experience with this? How closely do they arrive to their scheduled time? Thanks for any help. Only 10 more days!!!!! Woohoo!!!

We order from GG EVERYTIME we come to WDW. (5x last year alone) and they did not charge me anything extra. GG charges a delivery fee and do not deliver if the order is under $40...I just tip the bell hop to brings it to my room. They are within a window exactly when they say they will deliver it. I usually get a text or an email confirming it has arrived at the resort.

We were at BCV in January and it was nothing extra. HTH

I *think* it applies only to packages, not grocery delivery. I could be very wrong. If you are not there, GG will leave it with bell services. Your frozen items will be placed in a freezer, your refrigerated items in a refrigerator. You can just grab it when ready. I only use GG when we fly and schedule delivery in the window our plane is landing.

The charge is for packages which are delivered by UPS or FedEx, not groceries which are delivered to Bell Services. The packages are taken to the convention center. The business office at the convention center is run by an outside vendor, which charges a fee.

Try using WeGoShop. I've had much better luck with them than with GG and they will deliver it directly to your room and wait to make sure you are satisfied with everything.

Does anyone know if you can deliver to polynesian through ups with no fee? I've heard the fees only apply to convention resorts how can I find out if the poly is a convention resort
