Garden Grille for Lunch

We are going over Spring Break and have never eaten at Garden Grille and thought we would give it a try for lunch. Has anyone ever done this? We have 12 and 15 year old boys and are mostly excited about the characters, but would like to have a decent meal as well. We have heard good things about breakfast, so hoping lunch will not disappoint.

It's always been one of my favorite restaurants on property. I've only ever had the dinner (because I haven't been since they started offering lunch) but it's the same food. There are/can be minor changes due to freshness, but everything I've had there has been excellent - even the fish and I'm not a fish eater!

Best character interaction out of all the character meals I've been too (outside of Star Wars Weekends).

We went for lunch or dinner, I can't remember which, but the food was very good and the characters were great. It will be a must-do for us from now on.

Great. Thank you for the feedback. I was just nervous trying something new, but we are super excited about the characters.

Just had lunch there today - my husband declared it the best meal of the trip so far!

We haven't eaten there before, but it is definitely on our "must eat at" list now :)

(I had a vegetarian meal which was amazing too)

A big "Amen" from me! The food was plentiful, prepared perfectly, and very tasty. We had some very picky eaters, too. We went for lunch and had sausages with the other meats. Nobody was very fond of them but it was a personal taste issue. The menus indicate that dinner has sustainable fish instead of the sausages.

Our family usually craves a basic, American meal during our visit. This one is at the top of our list for a solid meal and also best meal.

We like Garden Grill (EP) and Liberty Tree Tavern (MK) for a good ol' "American Meal."

This is great information to have as I am a very picky eater. My kids probably eat better than I do and try more things.:) We have never tried LTT, but I have also heard great things about that one as well. Maybe we will have to add it.

Hate it. The "inner section" (close to the center) is cramped, and the food was too salty. The Living With the Land soundtrack was incessant (the crickets! Oh, the crickets!). Went once in 2009, not going back.

We went once for dinner and the $50 a person price tag was a joke. Food was good, but not near enough selection to be worth $50. So it was one and done for us. We'd go back if dinner was $30 or under.

Our favorite places to eat on site would be Tusker house at AK, and Crystal Palace at MK. We're all about most bang for your buck, along with delicious food..and both those places deliver.

What's the vegetarian meal like now? We ate there 4 years ago and the veg. meal I had was good but I heard it has changed since then.

My description won't do it justice, but it was a pepper stuffed with couscous, eggplant and zucchini and topped with cheese. Served on some sort of light sauce with beans in it - was delicious! The server also did a good job of telling me which family-style items were safe for me. I really appreciate that he let me know that the stuffing had a chicken stock base. When someone recognizes that chicken stock isn't vegetarian, I tend to trust their answers more, haha. (I am amazed how many people don't realize that most vegetarians consider chicken stock a meat product)
