Has anyone recently dined at the Garden Grill? Please tell me about it. Does the restaurant actually rotate? Any information is greatly appreciated.

We like the Garden Grill. The meal is served family style----food is brought to table on a platter & you can have as much as you like. The restaurant does rotate, very slowly. When we were there Farmer Mickey, pluto, & CHip & Dale were there.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

We ate at the Garden Grill on Nov. 8th (a week ago). It was yummier than I expected.......It was my 5 yo son's only dining request (He wanted to eat at the restaurant that goes "around")(He had eaten there the year before with Grammy who was underwhelmed with the meal at the time to say the least)....

The restaurant does revolve VERY slowly (we only went about 1/3 - 1/2 of the way around - and we ate slowly)- in some areas, you can stand up and see below into "The Land" ride (I'd request a table on the bottom tier if that interests you) (On the negative side - if you are on the bottom tier - then when you rotate to the front of the restaurant, everyone who is waiting to be seated or just hanging out at the Kidcot station can watch you dine!).

The menu posted at Deb Will's site is accurate

The bread with orange honey butter, flank steak and cheesy potato casserole were my favorites - but leave room for the desserts - they bring you an entire plate of 4 diff. ones (for the table to share) choc./pecan pie; brownie; a cheescake; and a lemon layer bar - they were all yummy (You can ask for more of anything you want at any time). The kid's dessert is cool - a decorate it yourself cupcake with plain cupcake, frosting and a couple toppings (m&ms, mickey candies...). The kids can eat off the adult platter if they want (They still bring them the kids food)(My son isn't a "traditional-kids food" fan).

The characters come to each booth; dressed in their farmer's clothes....
I'd dine there again sometime....Jill

I ate there a few years ago. They changed the menu once, but I understand it is back to the way it was when I was there. It was so good!! The vegetables were the freshest veggies I've ever eaten and the meats were tender and delicious!! The character interaction was WONDERFUL, they stopped at our table many times and did the cutest things!! Maybe I will upload some pics.

It does rotate as everyone mentioned, I loved the parts that overlook the land, it really adds to the whole experience.

I can't wait to go back, we will be doing the epcot segway tour in the morning and eating at the garden grill for lunch. 155 days to go!!

Thanks everyone for the information. Mary626 I love your pictures. I guess Garden Grill it is. :goodvibes
