i was wondering if anyone could give me reviews on the garden grill at epcot? Thanks!

We love Garden Grill. The food is so fresh and delicious! (Some of it comes from right there from the Living with the Lan ride at EPCOT!) You get all you can eat dishes of catfish and flank steak (very yummy) and lots of veggies. The kids have there own menu with stuff like Mac and Cheese, etc. Then you get a neat little dessert at the end. Last year it was "dirt" cake in a little flower pot. In years past it has been make your own sundae with a little butterfly cookie.

The character interaction is superb and the restaurant rotates very slowly so you can see lots of scenes. We love it here. Last year we thought we would try somewhere different for lunch on our EPCOT day and we ended up right there at 11am without a PS and decided that we just couldn't miss our Garden Grill annual feast! So we got right in with less than 10 minute wait without PS's.

We think this is some of the best food when you are sick of burgers, etc. and the character interaction is some of the best at WDW.

I highly recommend it.

I second that! The Garden Grill is a great place to eat.
You actually have real food and not burgers!
It is all you can eat but like a few of disney rest. it is called family style and the bring a platter of offerings to your table and refill it as needed. The veggies taste wonderful. I am not big on catfish but the steak was great. And if I recall correctly (it has been a yr) they also had some other meat to choose from.
We did the rehitchin ceremony while we were there so our dessert was a Cake that could of fed 10!
The rehitchin ceremony is when they renew your vows in the rest. with Mickey as the best man , (sometimes) Minnie as your maid of honor and the waiter performs the ceremony. It also comes with a marriage lic. "Really cute"!
Character interaction is great.
hope you choose this one, it is one of the best.

We enjoyed our meal at GG but thought the food was only ok, nothing great. We are not catfish eaters but liked the chicken and veggies and the salad too. The character interaction was very fun. Ask to be seated on the lower tier. It was one of those places I'm glad we ate at once but would try somewhere new next time in Epcot.

We love it! I'm not planning on it this trip but it will be hard to stay away! LOL I think we should try something new.
If you go, I hope it is a good experience!

Does anyone know how much they charge for the rehitching ceremony? Is it at lunch or dinner? When are there characters at this restaurant?
Thank you.

I've dined here for lunch a few times and have been very pleased with the food, the service and the character interaction.

No charge for rehitching. The characters are at lunch and dinner. Now, they used to have a character breakfast also, but it has been an on and off thing. Maybe someone else can tell you if they still have it now?

Call back and request that the rehitchin' ceremony be added to your PS. Then when you check in for your PS that day, be sure and tell the host or hostess working that you want to do it. (Sometimes CRO doesn't do a very good job of passing along info like that.) THEN also tell your waiter, just to make sure.
