Has anyone eaten at the GG lately? Do they have fried catfish and what kind of veggies come with dinner? We are going in Oct and have never eaten here before, I am from the Deep South and love it fried. If you have pics please attach I do have some picky eaters DS (7) and DD (10) will they eat? Thanks for the replies.

I have been looking for this info too. we ate there 2 years ago and it was really good, and they did have the catfish. Now they don’t have lunch though and we don’t really go for the characters, so I am trying to decided if $30 times 4 adults is really worth it. the menu on allears said that they have season fish of the day.

Has anyone been there recently?

We just got back was there on Thursday (the 24th I think). I have to say it was the best CM we had (and we had a lot over 9 of them). Our server was awesome, the characters came by 3 times and were super playful. The food was good, its on our repeat list

The food at Garden Grill definitely comes recommended. Good ambiance, great food, and friendly staff.. everything you should expect really.

Wow, no more catfish, that was like a "signature" dish there, they've had it so long! How was the mahi? And how was it prepared?

I have some photos on my dining review website you can check out if you like. They are from several months back but we have enjoyed this restaurant very much over the years and REALLY MISS LUNCH here! :(

Thanks! I will go ahead and plan to go. We all really enjoyed it a few years ago. We aren't planning many main meals, and I just love Chip and Dale.

They had fried catfish when we were there last October, I think that the catfish is their standby when other fish is out of season or otherwise unavailable, since catfish is sustainably farmed. That said, they bring out a child's skillet as well, with the usual mac and cheese plus fries and nuggets. I believe the veggies were green beans on our last visit.

We just ate there on the 16th for my birthday and it was delicious! I think the salad is the best I have ever had and my mother just loved the turkey. You can have as much as you like and the dessert was delicious as well. It is Mahi-Mahi and says as much on the menu outside the restaurant. The characters were great as well.

I am glad to hear the wonderful reviews on GG. We too are trying this restaurant out for the first time in December. My DD is a huge C&D fan so we are surprising her with this dinner, out of the 6 character meals that we are doing this trip, this is the one that I am most excited for.

I think it was grilled with some nut toppping (I dont eat fish unless I am on a coast or an island I am a fish snob) and steamed veggies underneath, My husband said it was good he and my daughter put a good dent in it.

The children had a skillet as well as the PP noted. My 5 year old is pretty picky she ate the Turkey (which was super moist), stuffing and Mashed potatoes off our plate and the Mac n cheese off her skillet
