We have never tried the Garden Grill, but the smell coming from there makes my tummy growl every time we ride Soarin' at night!!! So...is it as good as it smells? Is it a yay go for it ...or nay skip it?

It's one of my favorites. I just cooked a bunch of recipes from it today for myself for my birthday. Chip 'n Dale are my favorite characters, so that's a big part of the draw for me. I really do like the food, though. It's like a nice filling variety and I love that after the initial sort of tasting platter I can ask for more of what I want.

This is really my favorite of the family style places we have tried because the variety is nice and you don't feel like you need to scarf down a lot of meat to get your money's worth.

We've eaten there twice in the last 3 years and liked it very much the first time and just okay the second time. I really enjoy the turkey and the fish is pretty good. I do not like the beef at all. The salad is good and fresh. I really liked the dressing that comes with the turkey the first time we ate there, but couldn't stand it this last time. The potatoes are very good and the dessert is yummy.

DD5 eats here very well. She will not eat the sweet potato fries and the macaroni and cheese is pretty nasty. She enjoyed the chicken legs and ate from our food as well.

The characters are really awesome here. Both visits they were attentive and spent a lot of time with our children.

I took my older kids the last trip and we had a great dinner. I can't wait to take DH this time.

family fave here (unless you are going the same time as me... then i say avoid it so we can get a table! haha!)

:)

We LOVE GG. I think you will enjoy it too. I have our review of eating at Garden Grill in my Trip Report. If you look on the 1st page of my TR, click on the two links titled 'Eating w/Chip & Dale' to see pics.

We were not totally happy with the food BUT we loved the character interaction. Chip and Dale especially were great. Dale told us that Chip, uh, apparently, doesn't use proper hygiene. Seriously the best character interaction on our whole trip last summer.

In all honesty, I have never had a bad interaction with Chip 'n' Dale. They are always the most animate and fun to be around. This includes at WDW and on the Dream.

NOTE: The eatery revolves within The Land pavilion. Portions
of the spin include scenes from the boat ride. The food is plentiful,
with quality above average. The characters include Mickey, Pluto
and Chip-n-Dale. To dine with the characters it will suffice, but the
Quick Service area of Sunshine Seasons within The Land is a great
alternative if characters are not important.

The food was pretty good, especially the salad. The character interaction was lacking at best. We were there for an hour and only saw Chip and Pluto.

Yay from us as well. I loved the GG!

The best part was having everything served, and not shuffling children around a buffet!:thumbsup2

We ate there last week and really enjoyed it. It was at the end of our trip and it was relaxing to not have to think about what to order and not have to try to get kids up to a buffet while worrying about missing characters while you were away from your table. The food was good and the revolving floor keeps things interesting whild you are waiting between courses.

Overall we like GG. The character interaction is always our favorite part. We really like the salad. For the main courses, the fish and chicken are good. The beef is usually a little overcooked my opinion. I like the stuffing. The vegetables are just vegetables, nothing exciting. We like the strawberry rhubarb dessert, but we liked the blueberry one they had a few years ago better. My kids loved the dirt dessert, but now they give a Mickey mousse dessert to the kids which is just so-so. We have never had bad service. In fact, the server a few years ago brought a kids platter for our kids even though they were not old enough for the meal plan just to give them kid friendly food. The kid choices are good. My kids love their chicken. They are not big into the sweet potato fries though. We eat there every trip and will be eating there again next week!

YAY!!!!!! Food was awesome and the character interaction was just as great. Would eat thier in a second.

The Garden Grill is one of our favorites. We love the food, although due to allergy we skip the fish. (love the turkey and the beef) My youngest usually asks for mac and cheese and is happy. I find it to be the most relaxing character meal on property. The character interaction is awesome and I love Mickey in his farmer attire. We always see all of the characters more than once and they seen to have more time to play at the table.

Wow thanks for all the positive reviews!! We couldn't decide on another TS place and the smell coming from there always makes me hungry! I think we should try it!!!
