Garden Grill preview lunch

Honestly, many people both guests and CMs complimented my fiance on the shirt and asked where he bought it. It's not very noticeable unless you're looking right at him, and neither of us swear out loud while we're there. We don't see a problem with it.

Also, momto2, there have been a few threads already where people have posted that they've been able to make PSs.

I am surprised the CMs didn't make him turn it inside out. Last October there was someone that had an obnoxious "I'm with shirthead". Didn't really say SHIRT but you get it. Anyway a CM made this guy turn it inside out. The guy turned it inside out but went to the Mainstreet store and got a Mickey shirt. This all happened while we were waiting for a parade and a CM caught this guy. By the applause to the CM for making the guy turn the shirt around I knew I wasn't alone in being happy that it was done. I asked the CM and he said shirts like that were not allowed because they are a family park. Guess not all the CMs follow their rules. Which is kind of normal for WDW! LOL!

Forever, is Farmer Mickey still at the Garden Grill?

We are skipping Chef Mickey's in favor of LTT for MNSSHP. We will get to see Minnie at LTT, but we must see Mickey somewhere! :earsboy:

And it is the GARDEN GRILL. WHERE are the veggies? Waaah.

I do hope they bring back the Ice Cream Social. I was really looking forward to trying that in October.

Sounds like I wish the old menu were back as well. Will have to try it when we are there in December.

Thanks. :earsboy:

Now I will just keep my fingers crossed for the Ice Cream Social to return!

We ate at Garden Grill on a preview on Monday, 4/25, and the manager told us official opening was the next day, 4/26. My BIL and I had the chicken and there was no sauce for it to swim in so I guess they changed that. It was regular rotiserrie chicken (with some juices from the chicken) and then a tiny amount of spinach, and risotto. Ours was also real risotto, not orzo, but it still had little oats thrown in. My husband had the steak and was not impressed at all and wished he got the chicken. We all enjoyed the breads/sauces and chocolate fondue, with the exception of the lemon pound cake. The only problem with the fondue was that all the items were cold, so we're guessing they were in the freezer. That was the big reason we didn't like the pound cake, cause it was cold and hard. The brownies, etc. were too but they didn't taste as bad cold.

Oh, and here's a photo of our daughter with Farmer Mickey!
