Right now we have ressies at GG for dinner. We've eaten there before, and we were very pleased. I booked it simply because I didn't want to have to leave Epcot for a ressie elsewhere, but now I am wondering if we should try something new.

PF was on my list for us to try, so I am wondering if I should switch it. We have 5 boys, so I've gotten mixed reviews on whether or not the meal is too "girly" for them. But I really want to try that strawberry soup!

Opinions??

We're big fans of 1900 PF. I have a girl so we're more into Cinderella and her Prince

I think your boys would have fun - the stepsisters and the stepmom are a hoot! The prince is great too and I'm sure Cinderella would love to be surrounded by your pirates :)

Then again GG is a lot of fun as well - Chip/ Dale just cracked us up when we were there!

Helpful aren't I? :rotfl:

Hi all. I'm bumping ToyStoryBo's thread because I have the exact same question, except I haven't been to either restaurant. :)

I was content with my GG ADR, but then I found out that Chef TJ has left Ohana for 1900 Park Fare, so now I'm thinking I want to go there!

This will be our only character meal, but our kids are 8 and 12 and are not particularly desperate to see Mickey and Chip & Dale.

I'm also second guessing the food at GG--I know DH and I will love it, but I'm not so sure about the kids.

We ate at GG in '07. DDs & I really liked it but DH thought it was just so-so. Character interaction was nice because it wasn't a buffet, didn't feel rushed, didn't worry about being away from the table when they came by.

We ate at PF in '09. The characters were a hoot! DD16 & DD11 hammed it up with them but DD6 was a little intimidated. The food was just okay. While the strawberry soup was delish, I cannot remember a single other thing we had there.

Honestly, I doubt we would ever go back to either but if we did, it would be GG.
