Garden Grill - Kid food?

Hi!

I'm planning to eat at Garden Grill with my character-loving son. While he loves all characters, he is picky and does not love all food. I think he'll eat the mac and cheese, but not if it's super cheesy (he prefers the texture of kraft/Annie's to Stouffers) He's only 2, so the meal is free for him anyway, but I'm just deciding if I should bring an uncrustable or something for him just in case. Anything good for picky eaters besides the mac and cheese?

Thanks!

Our pickiest eater loves the mac and cheese, the mashed potatoes and the bread. It's not his healthiest meal of the trip, but that's probably part of the reason he loves it so much. And there is so much food that he's never hungry (and he's a teenager, so it's definitely enough for a toddler!)

My picky eater loved the mac and cheese and even ate some turkey. It is immensely better than the disgsuting Stouffer's served at LTT. It is still pretty cheesy in that way though, but it tastes a thousand times better. I think there are some pics of it on tripadvisor.

GG was the pleasant surprise of our trip- it was delicious and so much better than I thought it was going to be. We would definitely go back.

Ha, I think my almost 2 year old could make a meal of out the bread at most restaurants. One meal of bread per month or two won't kill him, so it looks like we'll be okay at GG :-)

Are you going for lunch or dinner? We did lunch and I don't remember any bread. In fact I am certain there wasn't any. Not that we could have eaten it. As it was we were forcing sausages and roast in so we didn't waste all that food

This is a great point. You're remembering correctly - the dinner menu includes bread while the lunch menu does not. I considered changing our reservation to lunch, but since the bread is key to at least part of our family, we'll stick with dinner. Thank you for noting this!

Took DGD and she does love bread....they brought her out the chicken leg and sweet potato fries......she ate enough.
Can't have mac and cheese, so it was good to have something she could have.

My kids are finicky and didn't like the meal at all, our sever brought them out chicken tenders to eat instead. (even though they are not on the menu)

This is great news! As is the bread at dinner, bc we have a 5:15 ADR. I haven't been to Garden Grill since 1995. I was in 6th grade and it was Thanksgiving. The food was terrrrrible and there were no characters. I'm ready to give it a chance 22 years later :-)
