GG is a great restaurant for character interaction. A+ really. The characters will visit each table at least 3 times per dinner. Another element of fun with GG is it rotates through the Land Ride. I would suggest asking to sit in the lower portion of the restaurrant to actually be able to see this. Our last visit had us seated in the upper section and it was hard to enjoy the rotation.
As far as the food, it's good. Starters include rolls with citrus honey butter and salad. The main course has turkey, flank steak (very much like LTT) and catfish (we opted not to have this). Also included is mashed pots, filling, fresh cranberry relish and assorted veggies. The veggies are really yummy... I think even better knowing they are grown within Epcot. We had our platters refilled once, but it's all you care to eat so ask for as much as you want!
For the kiddies: you guessed it...chicken strips, mac and cheese and FF. My kids ate mostly from our selection which they are allowed.
Desert is good, not great. It's bread pudding with Bailey's vanilla sauce. I like Ohana's version better. The kiddies get the most fun with a make it yourself cupcake. They are given an unfrosted cupcake, with cups of frosting, sprinkles, m&ms and of course a cherry to top it all off. My DDs loved this!
Overall, don't pass this ADR. You and your family will enjoy the GG!!!
