Garden Grill dinner with picky eaters

I have a cp dinner reservation at Garden Grill in December. We've never eaten here before. Has anyone ever received anything for their kids that wasn't on the menu? The only thing I'm seeing that my 2 boys will eat is the mac and cheese.

Are the chicken legs still on the menu? I know in the past they brought those out for the kids. Otherwise, I wouldn't expect anything else as it is a set menu. They can only offer what they have in the kitchen.

I didn't see it when I just looked, but I know they offer one. At least, they used to.

We went in November and they said they had no alternatives for kids, only what was available on the menu. The server did end up bringing him an uncrustable, which was nice of him!

Our grandson is beyond picky! He won't even eat macaroni and cheese unless it's a specific brand. It drives me bonkers!

There isn't a kids menu posted on their website. I was assuming the kids ate the same stuff.

It could be outdated, but All Ears still shows a chicken drumstick as an option for kids. Otherwise, it will be the same stuff. And no matter how little they eat you will be charged the full price for your kids. Maybe you would be better off elsewhere.

I know the feeling! One of mine is worse than the other, he won't even eat bread :worried: But the uncrustable would definitely work for my oldest.

As the others have said, I don't think you can expect something they don't have in the kitchen. They did, in the past, offer chicken legs for kids. Will yours eat these?

The server probably got the Uncrustable from Sunshine Seasons, which is a QS in the same building.

Not all servers would think of this or be willing to do this, so if the kids definitely won't eat what GG itself has in the kitchen, you might want to consider giving it a skip. Nothing worse than hungry kids who have nothing they want to eat!

Yep! That's where he got it from!

One will yes. So between that and the mac and cheese for the other I would count it as a win!

We've encountered the same thing at Garden Grill. It is my son's favorite restaurant, but he will only eat the rolls and sometimes the Mac & Cheese. Just an FYI if your kid is as picky of an eater as mine is, they put Goldfish crackers on top of the mac & cheese for decoration. Although my son loves Goldfish this someone caused a huge issue and he wouldn't eat the mac & cheese that day.

If there is something, such as the turkey, that your child will eat if it doesn't have gravy or dressing you can ask and they will bring a plate of plain sliced turkey.

Oh ok! Thanks!
