Garden Grill Character Dinner

Looking at the Garden Grill Character Dinner.....what is everyone's thoughts on this dinner? Good choice? Bad choice?

Garden Grill is one of our "must eats" . The kids love the character interaction and I love that the food is natural and organic. I like that it's family style rather than buffet. the fact that the place revolves while you are eating is a novelty that everyone should experience at least once.

I really think that you'll enjoy GG. The fact that it's family style makes it more appealing for me as I do not care for buffet very much. However, IMHO GG has the best character interaction. We've done this twice now, and chip and Dale are awesome! The first time (2007) chip tried to "eat" DD6's mac and cheese. The 2nd time (in Oct 2011) we had a late seating and the resturant was virtually empty. Every time the characters circle the resturant they stopped by our table. (Prob 5 or 6 times). DD9 had a blast talking, and dancing with them and there was no rush!
While we enjoy Chef Mickey's breakfast,we felt rushed with Mickey and the gang. If you want Mickey @ dinner this is the one I'd choose.

If you can, request the outer ring of the restaurant. That way you will get a more private feel and get to enjoy the view while the restaurant rotates.

Oh good to know! We're making a reservation there for October, I'll see if we can request it when we check in
