Gardasil?

I agree with several other posters, it has been too quickly marketed and I do not in any agree with a school requiring your DD be vaccinated. I have spoken to our Pediatrician and we decided not to vaccinate our older DD right now and I may not do it ever. I have lived 45 years without incident, so why would I make my DD a lab rat, I prefer to let her wait and see if how this how thing pans out. I'm not too confident in vaccinations like this these days. There are too many products that drug companies put out there and market as the wonder drug only to have to pull it because of some awful side effect. I don't want my DDs to become a statistic.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who wouldn't let them near my kid with that vaccination. They are pushing it so hard and many people just take the claims at face value. I'm going, wait you know that only kinda partially protects you from some forms of the disease, right? I worry that many girls will get this vaccination because the parents will just do as their doctor suggests, and their doctor has been on golfing trips and to conventions at Disney World with the company that makes this stuff. Yes, I am a bit paranoid, but the more you know about the drug pushers, the more paranoid you get.

Didn't read all of the responses.
But IMO I can't imagine how a school can demand Gardasil injection.:confused3 We opted against it. It is to new and we don't want to take a risk. There was another thread on the CB about this that got a bit heated over this subject.
