My mom said I was going to get HPV shots, but I guess she or the doctor decided just to give me my tetanus shot.
The only reason I was probably going to get an HPV shot is because the doctor brought it up...I don't know when I'll get that shot.
Sometime I suppose. Next time I go maybe.
But I don't think any kind of shot will bother me [I think...I don't know until I get the shot]...My last one didn't seem to have any painful effect. Everyone said it was horrible [Even my 2 friends came out crying] but when I went toget it....I felt nothing and they said your arm would be sore afterwards....and it still feels the same.
And all the other people who got it were complaining at school because their arm hurt.
I guess i'm just different.
But I'm not afraid of needles.
There is one episode of House, where he is on a plane, to go back to the US from Singapore (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong).
A man starts vomitting violently. Then another women does too.
House looks into it, and in the end, many people are sick. He tells them they have meningitis, and more get sick.
Which just proved that their anxiety made them sick, because the man who started it all had gone scuba diving the day before (which caused something, I've forgotten the name).
I basically believe, that if you go into the doctor's office or wherever you get the needle, all afraid about the pain, all afraid of pointy things, and basically just WAY out your element, then YES it will hurt. You're making it worse out than it was.
One time at school, we were getting shots. One person faints, the rest of the class decides they don't feel well.
I have never walked in there afraid of the person giving me a shot, or giving me a blood shot, and it has never hurt. Maybe a day afterwards, but it feels like I bruised myself. That, is normal.
