I bought my son a Game Boy Advance for his 5th Birthday so he can use it for the times we travel. He is used to our Nintendo NES system with all 4 Mario games as well as a few others.

Can someone recommend a few good games that will be easy enough for him to play and hold his interest?

Thanks

My 4 yo dd likes the mario games, i can't think of the names but they are the same ones that can be played on the regular nintendos. He should be fine with those since he is already familiar with them. But if you're looking for something new sorry i can't help ya.

Hope

My son loved this when he was about that age - great game for the age group because it is not babyish, but doesn't require alot of reading like the other Pokemon games. It is made for Game Boy Color, but will play on the Advance.

In fact he still plays it sometimes at age 9.

There's Mickey's Magical Racing Tour for Game Boy that my boys 5 and 7 like. No reading, you just race a car through through various WDW attractions.

My kids (DS 10 and DD 5) are always fighting over Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland. They also like Yoshi's Island which has alot of the Mario characters in it. They also like the SpongeBob Squarepants games too. There are so many good titles for the GBA I'm sure your DS will enjoy his.

Tony Hawk games are good and endlessly replayable.
The Super Mario Advance series is solid as well.
