Galley Tour

We were on the 8 night Magic on 1/18/2013. We inquired about a galley tour and they said they were not offering any due to security reasons.

Interesting, I wonder if there is something different about the Fantasy that makes them feel comfortable offering the tours. Though I guess it's possible they won't be offered when we check on Saturday.

It sounds like that is just the excuse they are giving for not offering them on the other ships. :)

We did the tour on the 12/22/12 Fantasy . Go to guests services as soon as you board to sign up. They offered the tours on two diff days several times each.

Interesting.

We did it in September on the Dream. We were in concierge and worked it out through the host. The other people on the tour were platinum CC members and a few people who found out about it (not advertised). We brought some friends along and all they had to do was go to guest services, ask for a ticket, and came on the tour. It was a small group of about 15-18 and was not advertised outside of platinum CC people.

I was thinking the same thing. Why would a galley tour be too much of a security risk on the classic ships but o.k. on the newer ships?

Not sure, may be about what restaurants use what kitchens and when they are or are not in use.

Dec 22 cruise on fEastern Fantasy- had the galley tour on a sea day
was on the Western the week before but do not recall seeing it available, so maybe itinerary makes the difference.

Entered at Royal Court ended in Animators. Ate the cookie.

Regarding the allergies- I am a pink ticket- it was wonderful to see how they kept me safe.

When we did the Galley Tour (Magic) we entered the kitchen though Lumiere's and exited at Parrot Cay. It would make sense that they would not be able to do it if the kitchen(s) were being used.
