Galaxy S10+ and Straightalk

I currently have the galaxys10+ with straighttalk. I have been getting texts for weeks now telling me that soon I won't have service for my phone because of the shutdown of the underlying network. This morning my phone stopped working so I called. Of course I had to deal with an automated menu but after telling my problem it seemed to help because my phone started working again. 4 hours later I get another text telling me the same thing. My phone is currently still working but now I'm worried it's going to keep happening. I'm very tempted to just go to a Verizon store get a new phone and get a plan through them. Anyone else having this problem or have advice/opinions. Thanks in advance for any insight y'all might have.
