We went last night and it was just so-so. For what I paid, even with the AP discount, it wasn't worth it.

We got there around 6 with the intention of eating before it started. They were handing the pass to everyone that walked through the tapstiles at that point. I don't know if they had it set up so that only people with party tickets got the green Mickey, but if not they weren't doing any checking. If it was only people with tickets, it was a grossly oversold event.

At 6, the lines for popcorn/pretzel carts were ridiculous because of the AT-AT bucket. I just wanted a pretzel because I was shaking hungry, and we had to get out of line and go to Starbucks instead. Bright side, practically no line there.

The stage show was the same one you can see all the time, as were the fireworks. Lines for characters that are out any day were at least 20 minutes all night, and special characters (which they were very few of) were 50+. They had some special photo backdrops (just backdrops, not characters) set up throughout the park and the lines for those were crazy long all night.

Someone decided it would be a good idea to have both the droids and the Ewoks out as "free roaming" with no lines. You can imagine what that was like.

We had an ok time, but definitely would not consider doing it again. On the way home this morning we both remarked that for a Star Wars themed event, there wasn't that much extra Star Wars stuff.

The Good:
Walked onto ToT twice, TSMM twice, RNRC once, could have ridden them more easily.
Walked right into the Galaxy's Edge panel and got good seats.
Got a cool Christmas ornament with proof of our Last Jedi movie ticket purchase. Very nice one, too.
Met an Ewok!

The Bad:
Far too many people. In some areas it felt worse than a regular park day.
The "special" food didn't seem to have much, if anything, to do with SW. It was just random overpriced food.
Really bad set-up for the Ewoks...like, REALLY bad.
The music in the area by ToT was INSANELY loud. We had to shout and could still barely hear each other.
There really wasn't that much "extra" for the event. It was more like extended park hours with some vaguely Star Wars themed stuff tossed in.

Sorry to hear that. We had the opposite impression. Didn’t feel crowded to us at all, and we thought the food was great! The photos we got are adorable, and we didn’t encounter any lines at all around the droids.

Thank you for your review. We went last night too. I agree that there was not a lot of extra for the cost.

We did have fun. When we were at the droid area it was later and not crowded. My 6 year old son loved this area. Getting on the rides quick was very nice.

We hit the special photo ops about 1140 and the lines were quick. That was the falcon and the k2so.

Loved the popcorn bucket. The panel group was good.

They gave all of us the ornament when we walked by this cast member. I didn’t know you had to have seen the movie. It was late so I am guessing she assumed everyone at the party saw it. Ha! And of course we saw the movie.

The music everywhere was fun since my son got into the dancing. He was hilarious.

I can’t wait to see other reviews. I am sure we missed something.

I see your point on the lines and such. We walked by many early in the evening. We are too impatient. ❤️ We watched the first panel.

Sorry you didn’t enjoy it. It sounds much less crowded than the MNSSHP we attended. I think the big draws for the special ticketed nights becomes characters, special photo ops, and of course the silly popcorn buckets.

We went and loved it! I didn't think it was oversold at all. Yes there were lines for the photos but it was worth it to my family, we ended up with over 60 photos and have plenty of time to ride rides and a few meet and greets. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I only waited maybe 5 min for my popcorn bucket. The only thing I would criticize is the fireworks/projection show. It was pretty much the same as it always is - it would have been nice to have something special. The projection on TOT was pretty cool.

My kids were able to get an Ewok picture without waiting but that was at 11:30 : )
