Gal Gadot is the new Evil Queen in upcoming live-action Snow White

Your thoughts? Gadot isn't the first person to come to my mind as a choice for The Queen, and reactions from fans have been mixed.

I like her. I wasn’t sure about her playing Wonder Woman at first because I grew up watching Lynda Carter.
But she did a good job so we will see what this next role will bring.

Me too I was skeptical because Lynda Carter had a sort of innate "goodness" that just shone through and made her character feel like a truly good superhero. Christopher Reeve had that same vibe as Superman. I think Gal Gadot has it too! I'm sure she'll be an interesting choice for this!

I think she'll be good at it. It'll be a nice change of pace away from her previous roles and she'll hopefully be able to shake off that horrible Wonder Woman 1984 train wreck of a movie.

Yeah Gadot did do justice (no pun intended) to Wonder Woman. That’s why, while she would not have been the first name I would have expected, I give her the benefit of the doubt since she surpised me before. I‘m curious to see how they do the crone version.

There was another Snow White with Sigourney Weaver as the Queen, who also got into makeup to become a really gnarly crone for that movie.

I like her, I'd rather not see her as a villain though.

She always seems like a really nice person, but so were many famous villain actors: Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Boris Karloff, etc.

It’s also interesting to see someone you’d least suspect as evil portray a villain, and that may work for The Queen as someone who’s putting up a benevolent facade to cover her scheming.
