Why don't you change up your workout? Do a different activity in addition to/instead of the treadmill everyday. Sometimes that will jumpstart your weight loss.
You need to realize though, that since you have 23 or 24 pounds to lose your body is going to fight to hold on to it. So, you have really done well to lose a pound a week. I know you probably don't want to hear that, but it is true.
Out of curiosity, how did you choose your goal weight? Did your physician tell you that you needed to attain that weight or is it the weight you just want to weigh personally? Your body is going to lose a lot more slowly the closer you get to goal. It will think you are starving and slow it's metabolism more. It's a survival instinct.
How long do you figure it took you to gain the weight you did before you began the Atkins program? Did you gain it in a month? I can certainly understand being frustrated and unhappy at losing a pound a week if you actually gain at a rate of 5 or 6 pounds a week. I would be frustrated, too.
Just hang in there and keep working. Even at a pound a week you will have lost 20 pounds in 5 months. In the grand scheme of life 5 months really isn't a very long time. Don't give up. You can do this.
Perhaps the bloat fairy paid you a visit and you gained a pound of fluid. Happens to me all the time

. If that is what is going on then the weight will drop away soon.
Don't give up, the only way to reach goal is to keep plugging away.
