GAHHH science fair

It's required at my school to participate in the science fair. To top it all off, it also counts as 3 test grades (1 grade for the paper, 2 grades for the actual project/display)

and this year, i have to do something with Chemistry.
So yea...

i'm (ATTEMPTING) to modify a cookie recipe -- to make it healthier -- but it's just plain confusing.

Anyone else required to partake of the science fair experience at their school?

At my school we don't have a Science Fair, BUT we have a thing called COLF (Celebration Of Learning Fair) We get to pick of subject (any subject at ALL) and do a big report on it.

I did, when I was in first grade. I made a model of the Solar System with styrofoam balls.

Yeah i had to do it for all 6 years at my high school.
We wrote the paper and presented to scientists in the field that flew in from around the country.

At my school you have to do science fair in 8th grade. Every other grade it's optional. But i hate science fair, i just find it hard and annoying.

Seventh and eighth grade HAVE to take part in mine. It's only open to them too.

Since i'm a sophomore, it's not mandatory for me to do science fair anymore but i am NEVER doing it again!
