Gah! Oh no!

I just realized I mis-counted while making my dining reservations. First, let me explain the situation. I was running late for work, well, not really late, I wanted to get there early to call before the kids arrive, and I got my third flat tire in as many days. So, as I was waiting for my husband to come and change the stupid thing I decided to call Disney and do my reservations, all while my 3 year old was in the backseat. Anyway... so clearly I wasn't in my right mind. I made most of the reservations for 4, instead of 5. It's a different trip - me, my mom, my sister, and my two boys - not a normal "family of 4 trip". And then I made some reservations for when my brother family joins us - for eight - instead of 9! Gah! I'm going to call tomorrow and see if they can change them. So bummed, because I got all my "musts!"

You can look online and see if those reservations are available so you don't have to wait to talk to a cm. If they are, just rebook to save them and then cancel your others. Hope you get what you wanted.

When you call, tell them you had one more join your party. They will check on the availability to change the party size.

We took a trip in June with friends, and her DH joined the trip at the last minute - there are no last minute additions to places like Chef Mickey's!!! So, under the advice of the CM on the dining line, we arrived at our reservation well in advance. I went to the podium to check in and very nicely said we had 1 last minute addition to our group, and could they please see if they could fit us together. We never had a problem, all week. (And, for the record, I was only able to change 1 of our reservations in advance on the dining line).

You'll be totally fine!

That's what I was thinking! I'm mostly worried about our Fantasmic Package and our early morning Tusker House. The trip is in June. And our 1900 Park Fare. Okay - all of them. I like your plan, though.

Nah, don't fret! We used the "poduim plead" for Chef Mickey's, Akershus, 1900 Park Fare, and 2 more that are totally alluding me at the moment (how sad is that!?) Oh, and this was all in June, too

Should I even bother calling??? Did you go from 3 to 4? I'm worried that's it 5 instead of 4 - a different table type. Of course, my younger son isn't all that big - we could totally fit at a small table.

Thanks for your advice - I was getting sick to my stomach thinking I "lost" all my good times/places!

We went from 8 to 9! So we were really in the same boat. I said the same thing - we had 4 littles with us and said we'd squeeze anyway we would have to! The only one we had to wait a little longer at was 1900 - but I find there is always a long wait for your ADR no matter how early you arrive!

That is a run of ill luck indeed, I would guess you have had to have used all of your bad luck up and only have good luck ahead

What I might do is go online and see if you can book them with the correct number of people. If you can, do that and then you can cancel out the ones for the wrong party.

While it is sometimes okay, going from 4 to 5 could mean a completely different type of table set up and you don't want to get there and have to wait exceptionally long because of it.

If you can't switch them online, then I would try not to stress, but if you can get them changed, I would--just easier, IMO.

No kidding! And now every time I drive I'm just waiting for that fourth one to go.

And you were right! Good luck - I called today and was able to change all of the reservations - from 4 to 5 or from 8 to 9. I only had to change the times by 5 minutes on two of them!
