GAD and new Armed Forces Salute Tix

People were able to upgrade their GAD tickets for Armed Forces salute tickets earlier this year.

Is this still possible with the new 2010-2011 version of the Armed Forces salute tickets?

There is nothing in the information which does not allow this to happen. The GAD ticket has the value of a one day ticket, is considered promotional, and can be upgraded to Armed Forces Salute as you found out.

Just be aware that the GAD promotion only runs through December 15, 2010 and all vouchers that still exist will be canceled at that time.

We arrive on the 12th, so we'll be able to upgrade in time.

If we use the GAD ticket to enter the park and then upgrade to the AFS as we leave the park, will we have 3 or 4 days left on the AFS ticket to use for the rest of the trip?

You will have three days remaining. And, if you ask when you convert your voucher, you may be able to get the upgrade at that time.
