GAC usage tips (to use or not to use)?

At DLR, they direct you to the fastpass line if you don't have mobility issues. At MK, they direct you to the wheelchair entrance, regardless of mobility?

At MK at WDW, the line for Splash Mountain is mainstreamed thru much of the line. There is no 'wheelchair entrance'. Guests with mobility needs or wheelchairs wait in the regular line until the regular line gets to a set of stairs. At that point, there is a pull off line that leads to a waiting area outside of the unload area. That is where those guests wait until they are called for boarding. They board at the unload area. That does nor mean a shorter edit and of someone can use the steps, they will usually board faster just going up the steps.

Unlike Disneyland, most attractions at WDW have Mainstream lines do guests with disabilities wait inbound with everyone else. There are a few attractions, mostly in MK which were not able to be converted to Msinstream access. Those have a wheelchair entrance or boarding area, but because all guests with wheelchairs or mobility devices MUST use them, they are often crowded.

There ate different ways GACs are handled at different attractions. That depends somewhat on what us available, but also might vary depending on staffing and how many people are waiting. And, because conditikns change, you may be handled one way onbyome you are at yhe attraction and very differently the next time.
That is why many people find a touring plan and using Fastpasses work better for them than a GAC. There is much more consistency and ability to plan what will happen with touring plans and Fastpasses.

Can you use GAC at character greets?

Only at certain indoor ones if they have a place available for you to wait. If they do. You may be given a card and they will call you at approximately the time you would have gotten in if you were waiting in line.
