GAC protective holder?

Anyone have any suggestions? Last year we went and by the end of the first day our GAC was looking pretty weathered, due to frequent showers and constantly taking in and out of bac to show Cm. And we felt embarassed to even display GAC at all. I looked at lanyards and ticket holders but couldnt find anything to fit. Recommendations would be appreciated

We have yet to use a GAC. Could you tell me the approximate size? Is it made of paper. I'd like to starting looking for something to put it in too.

it's approximately 3 inches by 5 inches.
You should be able to find something in an office supply store. I've been at conferences where the badges were about that size and they had pounches for those.
I keep my DD's in a pocket of my purse all by itself. It's protected, easy to get out and not in view unless we are using it.

What worked for us and may work for you:
We had lanyards with the little plastic things on them ... I guess they are ticket holders thye are the only size I have ever seen on a lanyard. Anyway you take your GAC and fold it in half with the arrows facing out. Easy to flash and no problems with it getting wet. I can take a picture if you want to see what I mean. HTH

I have an ID lanyard that I put the folded GAC into. It's got a ziploc type top. If you'd like, I can try to get a friend who as access to the place I got it pick up another for me.

You also could consider a pin lanyard with a pocket on in. The beauty of having them on a lanyard with it folded so that the stamp can be seen is that many times, the CM's would notice it hanging around my neck and get to us before we'd even get it out of the sleeve.

Bring a clear peice of mac- tac with you from the dollar store. Laminate it and then punch a whole in it and hang it from your landyard or just put it in your purse or bag that way. It will stay dry, clean and wrinkle free!

We used a neck wallet from the Passporter website. It had a couple of pockets to store money, our room key and GAC.

Thanks...I couldnt find our old one so I guessed and told him 4x6. Im still waiting to hear if he custom makes the holders or not

We ordered several Hydropack for snowboarding and the product information came in a nice thick zip lock plastic holder perfect size for our GAC. I also save my pass each time to show to the CM next time. It just makes it easy for them to see what we need ahead of time.
