I just found out something about the SAP at Disneyland, which is either different from the GAC at WDW or perhaps a change in policy which somebody needs to ask about next time you are there.
The SAP should be written out to the person who is disabled. If there are 2 disabled guests in the family, each should have an SAP if there is any chance that the one whose name is on the pass decides not to go on that attraction with the rest of the family. (We have always had the pass written out to my name.)
In other words, I need to get one pass for myself (if I need it next week, which is kind of iffy right now, I am fighting off a flare) and one pass for my son. This is different from what we have been doing, and telling others to do for the last 6 years. The pass has always been in my name, even back in the days when it was only for my son to use his stroller as a wheelchair and use alternate entrances... even when my husband took the kids without me. I don't know if this is the same at WDW now or not.
