warning: carefully review this "special value" !
nothing wrong withe camera and $799 is good but it includes the 75-300 non-is lens which considered Canon's absolute worst beginner lens, the inexpensive ($150) 55-25IS is much better. So look for offers that include the 55-250IS lens.
Or go to the Canon refurbished store and get the older T3i and 18-55IS lens for $475 and the 55-250IS for $167 for a total of $642 which includes a warranty and free shipping

I have waited a long time to make the leap to DSLR and I want to start out on the right foot!

I was all set to order the T3i but started reading the comparisons of the T3i vs the T4i and now I am totally confused. I know what you were telling me was that the lenses that came with the QVC TSV weren't that great. But is the camera body of the T4i better than the body of the T3i? Would I be better getting the T4i body only and getting the better lenses? Or maybe I should wait for the T5i?
