In case anyone is interested I just found out that there are NO vacancies in the studios or 1 bdrm ANY DVC resort for the dates 11/5-11/8.

We have a firm ressie for a 2 bdrm at BWV on those dates and the family members we were going with have decided not to join us after all (AGAIN! don't get me started...).

I was trying to do some creative rearranging as that ressie was made with borrowed points from another made-for-family ressie being cancelled in May. (I may be banning family members from trips in the future, LOL). I thought I'd step DH and I down to a 1 bdrm or studio and either rearrange the points or rent the ressie. Anyway, there is no rearranging to be done! NO smaller units available. and I will not give up the trip.. I love the Food & Wine Fest. I guess we'll be having some friends join us - or sleeping in a different bed every night

That still leaves about 50 points that has to be used before Feb1. I think I'll look into a early January trip for just me and DS. He's never been known to turn down a trip!

Did you get on the waitlist for a studio or 1 bedroom? Since all 2 bedrooms at BWV are lockoffs, it's a shame that they can't change you to a studio or 1 bedroom and then give the other side to someone on the waitlist.

Boy I am glad I booked BWV's at our 7 mth window for the 1bdrm villa. We are going on November 2-7.

Good luck on your trip in November. Right now definately keep what you have due to there is nothing else available (for now). What you can do is keep calling MS and check availability or get on a waitlist (if it works for you) and see if a smaller unit is available for you.

We are going down week after - we wanted a 2BR and all we could get was at OKW (which was fine) but it made me be a little more cautious and timely for our 04/05 plans
