Hi,
Just a heads up for those who may need it.
The ASM Family suites are included in the new pin promo. I was never able to book a suite with a pin before, even the agents on the phones always said said no ? (prob misinformed). Went online, and tried my pin codes (have 2), and the ASM Family suite came up discounted 35%. :cool1:
Just reserved late October 23-29, 2011 35% off, saving over $600. !!!. Got an e-mail pin, and a mailer.
This will be our first time staying at a value !!! Wish us luck.
I am sure the Family suites will go quick, so dont delay.

Awesome! I am hoping for a PIN for the Family Suites too.

sounds silly, but where do you put in a pin code online when making a reservation? :confused3

Oh that would be nice. The pin I have specifically states suites & 3 bedroom villa's not included :(

Is this the pin code for % off rooms but has the black out dates for the first week in November?? Or is there a newer one than that?

I got a pin code via e-mail, and snail mail. They were both the same........"Spin Great Walt Disney World Resort Savings". The pins were different numbers though. On both it read that is excludes "Suites, and 3 bedroom villas" :confused3.
I tried the snail Mail pin for the ASM Family Suites online, and it worked :cool1: It came up as a "pinned offer":woohoo:
Deposit had been made, its a done deal! :woohoo:

This is for the very small time frame at the end of October that the pin code offer is for. It works for us perfectly as its still Food and Wine fest at Epcot, Halloween party is at MK, and its also our anniversary (16 Y).
We are going to stay a few nights before at rack rate also, not sure where yet ?

The beginning of November is blacked out.

HTH........Good Luck !!!

I tried my pin for those dates and it worked too. Dang I really wish I could throw a trip into the budget this year!

What's even better for me is it will myself with the kids along with my Mom & MIL so I get to split the cost of the room 3 ways!!! but.......not until 2012 or 2013 :(

I got the same pin in the mail yesterday, but even with the savings it doesn't come close to the deal we are getting for an off property 2 bedroom suite with theme park view. I tried to make it work, but we'll be staying off property next month, oh well.

If you dont mind me asking; where, off-property, is there a TPV? :confused3

I'm not the OP but maybe she's staying at Bonnet Creek, we stayed there in September and could see HS, tower of terror and Epcot Illuminations, we were in the brand new building that they just finished with the pirate pool

Yes, my mailer stated the same thing. However, the pin worked for the family suites at ASM regardless. I called thinking I would have to just book 2 rooms, and asked about the family suites, expecting a "no". It worked fine and we have a confirmed res for late Nov with 35% off a family suite.

we are staying at the blue heron beach resort. some user pics on tripadvisor show views of epcot, DD and swan/dolphin. depending on room location we may be able to see DHS or MK fireworks in the distance as well. not a close up view obviously, but still nice to see fireworks from my balcony each night. we picked the room based on the size we needed, having a disney facing balcony was just an extra perk.

Pin #'s and Public Offers have always included the Family Suites and the Garden Suites at BWI, just with limited availablilty. The disclaimer about it not including suites never meant the before mentioned ones. As for no discount on the THV's that does not surprise me since they go for abuot the same price point of a 2 bdrm Villa so they are already basically discounted

Wow that's good to know. I tried a few different dates, but the suite was never available so I assumed it was excluded...until I tried the dates the OP used.

Now I hope I get one when I'm actually planning a trip!

We were also able to get an ASM suite with the PIN :cool1: We are going in December and this will be the first time out of 12 trips we haven't camped at Fort Wilderness. Very interested to see how this goes.

I tried the link you had and still can't figure out how to put my PIN code in online. Help! Please!!

Looks like the link isnt valid any longer.
Try this one..........
Sorry, broken link.....
Note: If you start your trip on a date thats blocked out, the entire reservation will come up with NO availability. You must start the date on a day that is included in the pin code.

Also, I called yesterday to try to add 1 day before the start of our reservation (its a blocked out night). The agent said it could NOT be done, even at full rack rate. It would be a seperate reservation. She said we would have to check-out, then check-in again with no guarantee that we could stay in the same room. Seems wierd to me. I think I will call again today to check with another agent..

Hope it works out for you !!!

Erase all the zero's, then type in your PIN#, last name, and zip. It should bring you to a page that will confirm your info. After you confirm you can start checking your "room only" pin discounts on different dates and rooms.

From the way I understand it you can add a day/s at the end at full rack rate, but not at the start, it is the way the system is set up for the promo, the first day of the trip has to be one included in the promotion. Seems stupid to me, it seems there should be some way to over ride it.

Good Luck I hope it works out for you when you call back

Can I ask where any of you are staying off site for less?? Im thinking of staying on site with the kids stay free deal.... We can stay at Port Orleans-Riverside ( waterview) w/ a 5 day base ticket and meal plan ( 1 sit down, 1 quick, and 2 snacks) for 2100.00.
This is our first time going so any help from all of you would be so greatful. MY boys are 7 and 9. I cant wait to see there faces when we go!!! :-)

How many are in your family (3 or 4)?
If its 4, I am not sure that you will do much better than your quote. The park tickets are roughly $1000. for a falily of 4, plus a nice moderate hotel, and a meal plan for $2100. is pretty good. Just for the simple fact that its the kids first time, I would try to stay on site if possible. The difference in price is not all that much, as you got a pretty good deal. We have done both and they each have their benifits. The cheapest place we have ever stayed off site was a 3 bdrm condo for approx $500. for the week. You would have more room off site, but there is nothing quite like staying right on Disney property for the kids!
Also if you stay on site, you wont need to rent a car at all, saving a few hundred at least. Just hop on the Disney magic express to/from the airport to Port Orleans for Free. Then use Disney transportation for everything in between. Its nice not to have to worry about a car and parking. Parking fees apply if you stay off site as well.... I think its $12. per day now. Another Almost $100.
Good luck with everything,
I vote to stay onsite for your family.
