FYI - Hurricane Charley

Hi guys.. For anyone who is interested in knowing.... Disney made it through Hurricane Charley just fine!!! YIPEE!

If you hadnt heard, Hurricane Charley ripped through Central Florida (Orlando) Friday, with winds topping over 100 mph.

I read in an article this morning that all parks closed Friday, but they will all reopen today (excluding Animal Kingdom). They reported no employees and no animals were hurt during the storm.

Just thought you would like to know!

Thanks for letting us know! I was so upset for all of the brides out there who had plans yesterday and today to wed. I'm sure Disney is making it right, but I know I'd be a basket case.

I spoke to my coordinator's asistaint (Tanis) on friday & she said the whole wedding dept. was covering everything they had in their offices with plastic & leaving at 1:00. I asked her about all the weddings that were to take place on friday & she said they were all moved to Saturday!!! I would be so stressed but I guess we are lucky that It is Disney & we all know they will make everything perfect!!
I am getting married on the 25th & hape all the huricane stuff is over for now!!!
