Just booked a trip for September. I asked if you needed to use the DRC Visa for the entire trip and she stated no. She read me an email that all the CM's received this morning stating that only the $200. deposit was required to be put on the DRC Visa. Just thought I would let everyone know since there is all different info out there.

I know a lot of people were told they would have to use their card for the whole trip. I asked our today and she also said only for the $200 deposit, I was therefore able to book my parents room at ASMu!!:thumbsup2

Keep in mind that after 4/11/07, anyone can book this package. :)

I clarified this w/the CM I spoke to today also. She took only a deposit and said the rest could be paid however I wanted...same card, differnet credit card, check mailed in...whatever...as long as it's paid 45 days before my stay.

We went the first year free dining was offered for a quick 3 night stay- I can't remember now but are the rooms not offered at the value rate for that time if you have the free dining? I think I had to pay full price for my room at POR if I took the free dining- is that right?

Hmmmm, this isn't what I was told this morning. I was on a 3 way call with my AAA agent and a Disney Rep. I was told that the entire vacation had to be put on the card. Also, one group that is traveling with us doesn't have a Disney Visa, so I would have to pay for their entire trip with my card, not just the deposit (or they would need to apply for their own before the final payment is do. Great, now which one is it? I didn't mind putting their deposit on my card, but I really don't want to put the rest of their trip on it. :confused3

My family is traveling w/another family and we put both ressies on one Disney Visa card. We got 2 reservations though...one for my family and one for hers. I just looked up both of them on the WDW website and it shows that only the deposit was charged today for each of us...not the entire rate. It shows us both as having balances due. I was told they could be payments in any form. I guess time will tell if they need to be on the Disney Visa or not. :confused3

Not true. DF's Dsis paid a deposit with her Disney Visa this morning and paid the balance with her miles card, all in the same phone call.
